To properly care for your surgery recovery compression garment, follow these key steps to maintain hygiene, effectiveness, and comfort:
1. Washing Instructions
- Hand wash is best – Use mild detergent and lukewarm water.
- If using a washing machine, place the garment in a mesh laundry bag and use a gentle cycle.
- Do not use fabric softeners – They can weaken elasticity.
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent, as residue can irritate the skin.
2. Drying the Garment
- Air dry only – Lay it flat or hang it in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
- Avoid direct sunlight – UV rays can weaken the elastic fibers.
- Do not use a dryer – Heat can damage the compression material.
3. Wearing & Changing
- Wear it consistently as per your doctor's recommendation (usually 24/7 for the first few weeks, except when showering).
- Have at least two garments so you can alternate between washes without missing compression.
- Check for proper fit – It should be snug but not too tight (shouldn’t cause numbness or extreme discomfort).
4. Keeping it Fresh & Hygienic
- Wash daily or at least every other day to prevent bacteria buildup.
- If sweating a lot, consider using lightweight gauze or cotton pads under high-friction areas to absorb moisture.

Amanda Williams –
I loved how these tights fit during my recovery. The compression was firm but not uncomfortable, and they provided support to my legs without digging into my skin. They helped reduce swelling in my lower body after surgery, but I did find the waist band a bit tight at first. After a few wears, they fit better and were perfect for everyday wear.
Olivia Moore –
Perfect for post-surgery recovery! These compression tights helped with my swelling and gave my legs the support they needed while healing. I was able to wear them under skirts and dresses, which was a big plus. They didn’t roll or shift throughout the day, and the fabric was breathable and soft. A must-have for anyone recovering from surgery!
Rachel Clark –
These compression tights made my recovery process so much easier. I wore them for several hours a day after my surgery, and they really helped with fluid retention and swelling. They’re comfortable, breathable, and didn’t irritate my skin, even after wearing them all day. A great product for anyone in need of post-surgery support.
Jessica Taylor –
These knee-length compression tights were a must-have after my surgery. They provided perfect compression around my thighs and knees, helping to reduce swelling and improve circulation. The material is soft yet firm, and they stayed in place all day without rolling down. I wore them under my clothes with no issues, and they helped me recover much more comfortably.
