To properly care for your surgery recovery compression garment, follow these key steps to maintain hygiene, effectiveness, and comfort:
1. Washing Instructions
- Hand wash is best – Use mild detergent and lukewarm water.
- If using a washing machine, place the garment in a mesh laundry bag and use a gentle cycle.
- Do not use fabric softeners – They can weaken elasticity.
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent, as residue can irritate the skin.
2. Drying the Garment
- Air dry only – Lay it flat or hang it in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
- Avoid direct sunlight – UV rays can weaken the elastic fibers.
- Do not use a dryer – Heat can damage the compression material.
3. Wearing & Changing
- Wear it consistently as per your doctor's recommendation (usually 24/7 for the first few weeks, except when showering).
- Have at least two garments so you can alternate between washes without missing compression.
- Check for proper fit – It should be snug but not too tight (shouldn’t cause numbness or extreme discomfort).
4. Keeping it Fresh & Hygienic
- Wash daily or at least every other day to prevent bacteria buildup.
- If sweating a lot, consider using lightweight gauze or cotton pads under high-friction areas to absorb moisture.

Emily Parker –
This bra made my post-surgery experience so much more comfortable. It offers great compression without feeling too tight, and the fabric is super soft against my skin. I had a breast augmentation, and this gave me the support I needed from day one. The front closure was a game-changer when I had limited mobility.
Emily Lawson –
This compression bra was a lifesaver after my breast surgery. It’s soft, supportive, and doesn’t dig into the skin like others I tried. The adjustable straps and front closure made it super easy to put on, even with limited mobility. I wore it 24/7 for weeks and never had discomfort. Total must-have for recovery.
Rachel Kim –
Very comfortable and provides great compression without feeling too tight. I had a breast lift and this bra helped with swelling and gave me the support I needed. Only reason I gave four stars is I wish the band was just a little wider for extra back support. Still, I would definitely recommend it.
Jennifer Morales –
I had a breast reduction last month and this compression bra was a total lifesaver. The support is firm but not suffocating, and it didn’t irritate my incisions at all. Super easy to put on, even when I was sore and stiff. I bought two and honestly might grab another one!
Christina Lewis –
The product is perfect, however it arrived 1 day too late. I couldn’t take it with me to Thailand.
Hannah Moore –
I absolutely love this bra for post-op care. It hugs the body just right—firm enough to keep everything in place but still breathable. I wore it night and day during the first two weeks and had zero issues. It also washes really well and holds its shape perfectly.
